The one minute promo videos located in the playlists above feature over 100 NYC street artists along with their DIRECT contact information whenever possible, split amongst different categories. If the performers are in an ensemble then the video may be listed in multiple categories.

This project is to help other artists, especially those whose work remains unrecognized and/or suppressed by gatekeepers in the activist and entertainment worlds. This project is blackballed by state funded arts organizations such as the Asian American Arts Alliance to punish me for my activism on behalf of war victims gentrified out of the antiwar space, the homeless community, people in public housing, victims of wrongful incarceration and others. These are huge money making operations that exploit the pain of the poor to steal the moral high ground and well meaning people who do not investigate where their money goes end up funding huge galas and plane trips across the world for people who are not actually poor. Astroturf activists and industry plants are used to keep those with talent and passion "in their place": Disposable, Replaceable, and Cheap.

We don't do this to get rich or for our pride. It's just a way for us to survive and perhaps take the future into our own hands. Sometimes Diddy calls and you gotta say, "NO!"

I book artists for events when the opportunity presents itself and organize street shows to help artists who aren't supported by "the industry."

Every year I host a FREE Street Artist Showcase and Awards show to honor street performer legends and to help other street performers network with each other and find another promotional vehicle for their talents.
